Entry for the second half of 's Halloween Contest, which was to draw one of our charatcers in costume. Shinju is a very neglected character: I drew her ONCE as an entry for a contest; so I thought I'd include her in this jester costume, based on some of the beautiful costumes at the Venice Carnival.

Originally it was going to be Shinju, Nol and Lilium, but the colours didn't work, so I drew Shinju on her own, and painted her in acrylics, with a bit of gold paint for decoration. She's supposed to be standing with her bum to the viewer, but I think I messed that up.

Oh, and the baxckground was painted with concentrated TEA!
